Coach McDaniel brings elite-level experience, leadership, and proven performance to every training session. As a former collegiate basketball player at Sam Houston State University, he led by example both on and off the court.

During the 2007–2008 season, Coach McDaniel served as Team Captain, demonstrating strong leadership, accountability, and a competitive mindset. That same year, he led his team as the Leading Scorer and was the leader in three-point field goals made, while also logging the most minutes played—a testament to his endurance, consistency, and trust from his coaching staff. His performance earned him recognition as a member of the All-Southland Conference Team, proving his ability to compete at a high level against top talent.
